showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly northwest of 

a line from Hugo to Fayetteville. They were most widespread and 

heaviest in Washington, Tulsa and Osage counties in Oklahoma. 

Movement was to the northeast at greater than 40 mph. The average 

amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch 

with maximum amounts of two to two and a half inches. Coverage, and 

intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast 

for late tonight, cloudy, widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some 

thunderstorms may be severe with heavy rainfall.
