showers mostly in southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Showers 

were heaviest in Choctaw and Pushmataha counties in Oklahoma and was 

more widespread in northeast Texas and far southwest Arkasas. The 

precipitation was in the Fort Smith area. Movement was to the 

northeast at greater than 40 mph. The average amount where it rained 

last hour was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of 

one quarter to one half of an inch. Coverage and intensity decreased 

during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this morning 

and into this afternoon, mostly cloudy, temperatures 64 to 71 

degrees with south winds 10 to 15 mph.
