showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly east of 

highway 69 in Oklahoma and in northwest Arkansas. Thunderstorms with 

locally heavy rain were located in Ottawa county in Oklahoma and 

Carroll and Washington counties in Arkansas. The precipitation was 

in the Fort Smith area. The precipitation was in the Bentonville, 

Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the northeast at 

around 35 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was one 

tenth to one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of two to two 

and a half inches. Coverage and intensity remained about the same as 

last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening , late this 

evening and into overnight, partly cloudy, a slight chance of 

showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 62 to 68 degrees and 

south winds up to 5 mph.
