showers and thunderstorms mostly west of a Bartlesville to McAlester 

line. Showers were heaviest in Okfuskee, Creek and Pittsburg 

counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. 

Movement was to the north at around 25 mph. The average amount where 

it rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch with maximum 

amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch. Intensity decreased 

during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early this 

morning, mostly cloudy, occasional showers and a chance of 

thunderstorms with temperatures 65 to 68 degrees and south winds 10 

to 15 mph.
