The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lumberton, Silsbee, Kirbyville, Kountze, Fred, Evadale, Buna, Wildwood, Call, Saratoga, Thicket, Caney Head, Village Mills, Mt. Union, Magnolia Springs, Wrights Settlement, Honey Island, Trout Creek, Devils Pocket and Old Salem. Highway 96 in Kirbyville is flooded.
