Do not drive cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO LATE THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is 

  forecast.



* WHERE...Walnut Creek near Mansfield.



* WHEN...From early this morning to late this evening.



* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur along the 

  creek through Mansfield, downstream of Joe Pool Lake. Retta Road, 

  North Street, Walnut Creek Road, and Magnolia Road are all flooded.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 6:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.0 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.

  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.5

    feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage

    late this afternoon.
