Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...



  Little Platte River at Smithville affecting Platte and Clay 

  Counties.



For the Little Platte River...including Smithville...Minor flooding 

is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

  - At 6:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 25.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    this morning to a crest of 27.4 feet this morning. It will

    then fall below flood stage late this morning.

  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
