Do not drive cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON TO FRIDAY 

EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Navasota River above Groesbeck.



* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon to Friday evening.



* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor out of bank flow will occur along the 

  left bank of the river.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 5:40 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 2.6 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.

  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 7.7 feet late tomorrow

    evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning.
