...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is 

  forecast.



* WHERE...Navasota River above Groesbeck.



* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 11.6 feet, Moderate overbank flow is expected along 

  the east bank.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 6:25 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.

  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0

    feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage

    early Saturday morning.
