throughout the week. Far inland areas and higher  elevations below

this marine layer will continue to be dry with  low afternoon

humidities. Dry weather continues into the upcoming  weekend,

especially for the interior.

A modest warming trend will continue through  Wednesday with

interior valley temperatures peaking in the 90s.  Conditions will

continue to dry with no wetting rain through the  week. The driest

valleys will most likely see RH as low as 15  percent with poor RH

recoveries overnight on upper slopes. Some  very isolated

thunderstorms are possible though very unlikely  (less than

10 percent chance) over the highest terrain late  Tuesday and

Wednesday afternoons. Wind will be mostly gentle and  terrain driven

(gusts below 15 mph) with generally northwesterly  and onshore flow

along the coast and on exposed ridges.
