Showers with observed lightning has strengthened after crossing 

the mountains into Union County. It is moving to the NNE, about to

enter Carter County. Additional showers currently over the 

mountains, moving the same direction, may reflect the same 

strengthening once acrossed the mountains. We are headed into the

afternoon hours where thunderstorm chances will be best.
