If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Good morning, Brandon. Scattered showers are ongoing across portions of north Georgia as the morning begins, and are forecast to continue throughout the day with 20-30 percent chances. As they are falling from a mid-level cloud deck, showers that occur are expected to remain light. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon after 1 PM. At this time, rainfall amounts are forecast to be less than one-tenth of an inch, although locally heavier amounts may be possible with any thunderstorms that occur. Increased cloud cover will somewhat inhibit daytime heating over the site. Temperatures are expected to be in the 70s through the morning and low 80s in the afternoon, reaching a high of 83 degrees. Winds will be E at 3 mph at the start time, shifting to SE at 3-5 mph by 11 AM, and further to S at 5-8 mph during the afternoon. Winds will diminish to 3-5 mph after sunset, shifting back to SE by midnight. Relative humidity values will start the morning just under 80 percent, dropping to below 60 percent by noon, and down to a minimum of 45 percent in the mid to late afternoon. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (60-70 percent). Chance of showers through the day.
