.DISCUSSION...

Dry, warm conditions will persist today with afternoon highs in the 

upper 80s. Winds today will follow light diurnal/terrain driven 

tendencies with typical afternoon breeziness gusting up to around 20 

mph. Stronger winds will begin to pick up Saturday afternoon with 

gusts upwards of 20-25 mph. Winds further increase Sunday with 

afternoon wind gusts climbing to 30-40 mph and potentially in excess 

of 40 mph at times. The strong winds combined with dry conditions 

will lead to elevated to critical fire weather conditions Sunday. 

Min RHs through the weekend will be around 10-15%, while overnight 

Max RHs will be around 40-45%.
