.DISCUSSION...A frontal system, fairly strong and cold for this 

time of year, moves through the region tonight into Saturday 

morning, bringing widespread rain and breezy SW to SSW winds.

Steady precipitation will begin around 11PM-12AM and continue 

overnight into Saturday morning. As the front passes through the 

local area late Saturday morning, winds will shift to the west and

steady rain will give way to intermittent, on-and-off again 

showers for the rest of Saturday into Sunday. Snow levels will 

decrease sharply with the front, from above 8,000 feet tonight to 

4,600-4,700 feet by late Saturday morning. Snow levels will 

continue to decrease gradually for the remainder of Saturday into 

Sunday, dropping below 3,000 feet.
