A weak 29.9 inch trough moves into the Upper Great Lakes Saturday evening before ridging at 30.1 inches returns by Sunday. Ridging shifts east early next week as a broad 29.2 inch low pressure develops on the Northern Plains on Monday. A strong pressure gradient over western Lake Superior begins to setup Tuesday morning as a deepening 29.0 inch low pushes eastward against 30.0 inch ridging over far northern Ontario.
