Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest

1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of

the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.



.SYNOPSIS...A disorganized 29.5 inch low will cross the Upper

Great Lakes today. The low will cross just to the north of the

lake tonight while dragging an associated cold front across the

remainder of the Lower Great lakes. The wavy front will exit

across New England on Wednesday...while a large 30.4 inch Canadian

high will settle over the Upper Great Lakes. The area of high

pressure will slowly work across Lake Ontario Wednesday night and

Thursday. The high will cross New England on Friday. A warm front

will lift northwards across the lake on Saturday.

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west and

diminishing to 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Rain. Waves 3 to

6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. 

.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to

15 knots. Showers likely with a chance of snow showers in the

morning. Waves building to 3 to 5 feet. 

.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming variable. 

Waves 1 to 2 feet. 

.THURSDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less. 

.FRIDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers Friday

snow showers likely in the morning, then a chance of rain and

snow showers in the afternoon. Waves building to 4 to 7 feet.
