The low then lifts north over northwestern Ontario Friday. A weak 30.0 inch trough pivots across the lake Saturday morning ahead of ridging that builds to 30.1 inches by Saturday evening; this ridging persists through Sunday. The ridging leaves the Upper Great Lakes Monday as a deepening low lifts off of the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains.
