With dry humidity, this will create elevated fire danger. Late this afternoon and evening, a few weak showers are expected over the eastern plains with a slight chance for a thunderstorm. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Friday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible for the foothills and plains. Thunderstorms may produce wind gusts up to 45 mph and small hail. Some light snow is also possible across the mountains, mainly over the higher peaks from Friday into Saturday. Warmer weather is expected on Sunday with perhaps an isolated shower or thunderstorm across the eastern plains.
