  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...

  Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 

  NM...

  Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 

  NM...



At 245 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located

23 nm east of Ocean Ridge, moving east at 20 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher

waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm

passes.



Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in

case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

The areas affected include...

  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...

  Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...



At 243 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms, 

capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This line was located 

over mainly areas of the Atlantic Waters at about 10 to 15 miles off 

to the north of PR's northern coastline, moving north at 5 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until this storm passes.

...UNA LÍNEA CON TORMENTAS ELÉCTRICAS FUERTES SOBRE LAS AGUAS DEL 

ATLÁNTICO...



Las áreas afectadas incluyen... 

Aguas del Atlántico de Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes Americanas 

desde 10 MN hasta 19.5N...

Aguas costeras del norte de Puerto Rico hasta 10 MN...



A las 243 PM AST, el radar Doppler indicó una línea de tormentas 

eléctricas,  capaces de producir vientos de alrededor de 30 nudos.  

Esta línea estaba localizada sobre principalmente áreas de las Aguas 

del Atlántico a alrededor de 10 a 15 millas al norte de la costa 

norte de PR, moviéndose hacia el norte a 5 nudos.



MEDIDAS DE PRECAUCIÓN/PREPARACIÓN...



Los navegantes pueden esperar ráfagas de vientos de alrededor de 30 

nudos, oleaje localmente más alto, y rayos.  Los navegantes deben 

buscar puerto seguro inmediatamente hasta que esta tormenta pase.
