...SHOWERS APPROACHING THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

Lake Michigan nearshore and open waters to mid lake from Port

Washington WI to Winthrop Harbor IL...



At 427 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing

winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line

extending from 11 nm west of Milwaukee to 6 nm west of Racine to near

Pleasant Prairie, moving northeast at 50 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



This showers will likely produce winds to around 30 knots, and could

pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine warning may

eventually be required when these storms reach the nearshore waters.

Boaters should consider heading for shore before these storms arrive.
