  Nearshore Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Calumet Harbor...

  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid

Lake...



At 547 PM CDT, showers were located along a line extending from 15 nm

east of Wind Pt. to 23 nm east of Winthrop Harbor to 13 nm east of 

Harrison-Dever Crib, moving northeast at 45 knots. Gusty southeast 

winds to 40 kts linger behind this line, with the Chicago Harrison 

Crib reporting 37 kts at 520 pm CDT. Winds will gradually ease back 

into the 15 to 25 kt range as the showers continue to move east out 

over open waters.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.
