For the following areas...

Nearshore and Open waters from The Islands OH to Avon Point OH...



At 541 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm cluster was centered near 

Huron, moving east at 20 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Lorain Harbor, Western Vermilion, and Vermilion.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm cluster. If caught 

on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from 

ungrounded metal objects.
