At 231 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near Presque Isle Light to Thunder Bay to 16 nm west

of Greenbush, moving northeast at 40 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Middle Island, Alpena, Black River, Presque Isle Light, South Point,

Greenbush, Thunder Bay, Sturgeon Point, Northern Lake Huron Buoy, and

Harrisville.
