Through 945 PM: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue

to move slowly eastward across the Caprock and into the western 

Rolling Plains. The gust front generated by the thunderstorms will

continue to surge far ahead of the showers and thunderstorms as 

it moves across Lynn, Garza, Crosby, and Dickens Counties as well.

Strong wind gusts in excess of 50 mph and blowing dust will 

accompany the sudden wind shift with this gust front.

Through 945 PM: Thunderstorms will continue to move slowly

eastward across Lubbock County. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning

is occurring with this storm. However, the severe weather threat

is low with this storm. Heavy rain and frequent lightning will be

the primary hazards with this cluster of thunderstorms.
