to move slowly eastward across the Caprock and into the western 

Rolling Plains. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning, brief

downpours, and gusty winds, will be possible.

Through 10 PM: Thunderstorms will continue to move slowly 

eastward across Lubbock County. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning

is occurring with this storm. However, the severe weather threat 

is low with this storm. Heavy rain and frequent lightning will be 

the primary hazards with this cluster of thunderstorms.
