Through 4 PM, scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will

continue to spread northeast at 35 mph from the South Plains

through the Rolling Plains and far southeast Texas Panhandle. This

activity should diminish in coverage from west to east later this

afternoon. Until then, locally heavy rain and small hail are

possible with some of the strongest thunderstorms. Additional

rainfall could approach one half inch in some locales.
