...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...



In 1991, an F3 tornado developed near Clearwater and

moved northeast across South and Southeast Wichita.  It

damaged around 20 homes and caused $1 million damage. 

The twister's track nearly paralleled that of the Andover

Tornado that had occurred just 20 days earlier.
