There was evidence of topping and twisting of a few trees. Along Stroudville Rd at Tony Darden Rd, there were 3 trees down that had been cleaned up by highway department. Witnesses said they saw a much great funnel aloft and only one small part was touching the trees. When the tornado got to Highway 256 and Ridge Rd it increased in speed and width and turned south southeastward. A barn had panels and sheeting torn off and 2 trees were uprooted off 256. Along Ridge road, 3 homes had shingle and roofing material loss, along with gutter and soffit damage. One home had 14 trees snapped or uprooted, and one fell on their home. Along Ridge Rd, drone photography showed dozens and dozens of trees topped, twisted, uprooted and snapped. An older 20 by 40 barn was picked up and thrown off to a northeasterly direction, with metal sheeting thrown well up into the trees and wrapped around the tree. The tornado took a hard turn back to the east at the very end of the track. The tornado topped twisted and uprooting trees. It also damaged metal sheeting on a barn near Ridge Road. .Columbia EF-3 Tornado... Multiple homes received damage along Cothran Rd and Cranford Hollow Rd before the tornado moved north of Highway 412. More intense damage began to occur on Old Highway 99 and Blackburn Lane where large sections of roofs were removed and hundreds of trees were snapped or uprooted. The tornado reached its maximum strength along Blackburn Rd and Lasea Rd where large transmission power trusses were collapsed, a house was destroyed with only small interior walls still standing, and a mobile home was swept away. The tornado continued northeast damaging additional homes before crossing I-65 near mile marker 47. More homes were damaged along Rally Hill Cutoff Rd and Kedron Rd. The tornado crossed Highway 431 near Kedron Rd before lifting just past the Maury/Marshall County line. .Prospect EF-2 Tornado... As the tornado continued east, two homes sustained roof damage, and a manufactured home was completely removed from its base and destroyed. Additional structures were damaged along Case road as the tornado headed east, then damaged some metal outbuildings off of Bethel Prospect Road south of the town of Prospect. Additional trees and minor roof damage was found off of Circle Drive and Veto Road southeast of Prospect. Some larger tree damage was found along El Reed Road, and further east along the Elk River before dissipating. .Christiana EF-0 Tornado... The tornado moved east along New Zion Rd snapping large branches off from hardwood trees. Trees were uprooted near the intersection of Midland Rd and Jones Rd.
