...MAINTENANCE BEING CONDUCTED ON THE MINOT WEATHER RADAR THIS

WEEK...



Technicians from the Radar Operations Center will be at the Minot

Doppler Weather Radar, KMBX, conducting maintenance through 

Wednesday. The radar will be down for extended periods during this

time. 



Surrounding National Weather Service radars that can be used

in the meantime are KBIS at Bismarck, KMVX at Mayville, and KGGW

at Glasgow, Montana. 



Additional radars in the area that also may be available during 

this time include the Williams County radar located at Williston 

Basin International Airport, and the North Dakota Atmospheric 

Resource Board radar located at the Stanley Airport.
