In 1951, an F3 tornado touched down in Rawlins County 

Kansas, causing minor damage and injuring 4 people.



In 2007, a brief tornado lasting under one minute developed in 

Norton county during the late afternoon. Thunderstorms also produced

quarter sized hail in and around the Lenora area.
