...Elevated Fire Weather Conditions Expected This Afternoon...



Weather conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread in

wildland fuels, including grasses and shrubs.



WHERE: Lower elevations of central and southern Wyoming.



WHEN: Early afternoon through sunset today.



RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 10 to 15 percent.



WIND: Gusts of 30 to 40 mph.



IMPACT: Fire and emergency officials should be aware that weather

conditions will be favorable for the development of significant 

wind-driven grass and shrub fires.
