.DISCUSSION...



Strong low pressure will result in high winds, particularly across 

northeast South Dakota, and heavy rainfall. Rainfall totals are also 

focused in far northeast South Dakota, while portions of central and 

north central South Dakota will only see about a few hundreds to a 

quarter inch. Temperatures this morning are in the 50s...and will 

see little movement through the day, with humidity between 40 and 80 

percent.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...



Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,

and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the

probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under

these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety

precautions, but should be monitored.





The outlook for Wednesday afternoon...The grassland fire danger

index will reach the low category.
