South to southeast winds increase through the morning today, with gusts 40 to 50 mph into the afternoon and early evening. A couple of rounds of showers and storms are expected to move east across the area today - the first this morning and the second this afternoon and evening. The second round will be more widespread with locally heavy rainfall. Rain comes to an end late tonight. Rainfall amounts from 0.25" to over an inch expected, highest for areas east of I-29.
