Heavy rainfall has resulted in rises along Independence Creek. The 

creek is expected to crest above action stage, but remain below 

flood stage.

For the Independence Creek at Independence Creek near Sheffield, 

Texas

* The current stage was 7.33 feet.

* Impacts at 15.0 feet Independence creek threatens the U. S. 

  Highway 285 bridge.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
