A large range in temperatures was observed late this afternoon as a result with upper 40s to low 50s in central and north-central Wisconsin, and mid 60s to low 70s elsewhere. As the cold front continues to track east across the area this evening, scattered rain showers will continue in far northeast Wisconsin, while a few thunderstorms may develop in east-central Wisconsin. A few of these storms may be strong enough to produce hail. The rain and thunderstorms will exit the region by late this evening following by clearing skies for the remainder of the night.
