Today will feature increasing clouds followed by periods of 

light rain through tonight as a frontal system crosses New

England. Conditions remain damp until a cold front crosses on 

Monday, bringing warmer and drier weather for the remainder of 

Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday will be especially nice with 

sunshine and temperatures warming into the 60s and 70s. Rainy 

weather returns for the middle and end of the week.

Mostly clear skies occurred during majority of the overnight hours

with an area of stratus moving in from Southwest Kansas and over

the Palmer Divide. Temperatures as of 4 AM MDT (5 AM CDT) ranged

from 41 degrees in Norton, Kansas to 45 degrees in Colby, Kansas.



OUTLOOK... Today will be mostly cloudy in the morning due to

stratus then partly sunny in the afternoon with highs in the 60s 

and 70s. Lows will be in the 50s. Monday will be partly cloudy 

with a chance for thunderstorms east of Highway 25, but mostly 

sunny and windy west of Highway 25. Highs will be in the middle 

60s to middle 70s and lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Strong

to severe thunderstorms are possible mainly east of Highway 283

Monday afternoon and evening.
