Mainly dry conditions over the area during this time, with just a few isolated sprinkles. As of 100 AM MDT, temperatures are currently ranging widely from the mid 40s to around 60F in spots. Skies are mainly clear with winds southeasterly with gusts in spots up to 15 to 20 mph. OUTLOOK... Dry conditions today will give way to increased chances for showers and thunderstorms, peaking Wednesday and Wednesday night. Some storms could be strong to severe, especially east of Highway 25. Chances for precipitation continue for Thursday onward, but best expected coverage will occur midweek. Dry conditions this afternoon could bring about elevated to near critical fire weather conditions area-wide.
