Cloudy and cool conditions persisted across much of the area

through the afternoon, though there as more sun for portions of

northeast Colorado and south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas.

Afternoon temperatures ranged from lower 50s in the cloudy areas

to the middle 60s in areas with more sun. Winds were out of the

southeast and gusting over 30 mph at times. 



OUTLOOK... tonight will be mostly cloudy with scattered to

numerous showers and thunderstorms, some severe. Low temperatures

will be mainly in the 40s. Thursday will be mostly sunny with

highs in the 60s. Thursday night will see scattered showers and

isolated thunderstorms with lows in the 30s and 40s. Friday will

be partly sunny with increasing chances for showers and

thunderstorms through the afternoon, becoming likely by Friday

night. Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s and lows in the

30s and 40s.
