Temperatures as of 3am ranged from the low 30s in north-central Wisconsin to the lower 50s in the Fox Valley. Rain is expected to spread west to east across the region this morning. A few heavier showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening, but no severe weather is expected. The additional rainfall will bring some rising river concerns, as many of the area rivers begin to approach bankfull. High temperatures are forecast to range from the lower 50s near the Upper Peninsula border to around 60 degrees in the Fox Valley. An upper level ridge will build over the region today leading to hot and dry conditions. A weak cold front will cross the area late tonight into Friday before sinking south this weekend. A secondary cold front and area of low pressure will pass through the area Sunday into early next week.
