Avalanches are increasingly likely in the Sierra Nevadas as additional snowfall piles up. East of the Sierra, hazardous wind will continue today across the Colorado Plateau, where wind gusts could exceed 75 mph. Another sysem (albiet less extreme) will bring additional heavy snowfall beginning tomorrow to parts of Northern CA, the Sierra, and the Cascades.
