REE HEIGHTS 2 SSE 0.50 ROY LAKE STATE PARK 0.50 BOWDLE 0.30 SELBY 0.25 Light snow showers will continue to fall across northeastern Minnesota and will slowly drift offshore toward Lake Superior, dissipating by tonight. The larger storm threat will move further into Ontario, where a new snowfall threat will emerge due to surface troughing of northwesterly flow behind the cyclone. This has the potential to produce prolonged lake-enhanced light to moderate snow for portions of eastern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Snowfall may persist for several days before the cyclone passes through New England and into maritime Canada. Between 4-8 inches is likely over the region by the time the snowfall subsides, with locally higher amounts possible. This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local National Weather service office for additional information. Genz $$
