Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A band of strong-severe thunderstorms, with a history of measured severe gusts over northeastern MO, is expected to persist into more of IL over the next few hours, riding along a warm-frontal zone. Additional damaging to severe gusts are possible, as well as severe hail from more isolated cells north of the warm front. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles west southwest of Peoria IL to 50 miles northeast of Champaign IL.
