  Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle

  Royale National Park...

  Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI...



* Until 845 PM EDT.



* At 820 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 17 nm east of The Western Lake Superior Buoy to 37

  nm east of Oak Island, moving east at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in 

           structural damage.



* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
