The National Weather Service in League City has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60

  NM...



* Until 930 PM CDT.



* At 833 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Matagorda Island 607 to 9 nm west of Brazos A70

  to 16 nm southwest of Brazos B133 to 36 nm east of Port Aransas,

  moving east at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Brazos A4, Brazos A26, Matagorda Island 607, Galveston A250, Brazos

  548, Brazos A70, Brazos B133, Brazos A110, East Breaks 228, Brazos

  A85, and Buoy 42019.
