The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Lake Worth to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM...



* Until 715 PM EDT.



* At 622 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 10 nm northwest of

  Delray Beach, moving southeast at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Ocean Ridge, Delray Beach, Hypoluxo, Highland Beach, South Palm

  Beach, Manalapan, Briny Breezes, Gulf Stream, Boca Raton, Deerfield

  Beach, and Palm Beach.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor

immediately.
