The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...



Central and Southern Bay of Green Bay...



* Until 1045 PM CDT.



* At 847 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 45 nm northwest of Crivitz to 13 nm northwest of New

  London, moving east at 50 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Sherwood Point Light, Long Tail Point Light, Peshtigo Reef Light,

  Bay Shore Park, Pensaukee, Little Suamico, Eagle Bluff Light, Green

  Bay Harbor Entrance Light, Chambers Island, and Oconto.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northeastern

Wisconsin...and the adjacent waters of Lake Michigan.



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.



Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor

immediately.



Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the

open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded

metal objects.
