* At 906 AM EDT, low pressure was just offshore of Wallops Island. 

  To the north of this low, east to northeast winds are gusting to 

  40 kt. Expect these winds to continue through 11am before 

  subsiding as the low moves northward. 



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Buoy.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.
