The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20

  nm...

  Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to

  40 nm...



* Until 915 PM EDT.



* At 820 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near DeBordieu Colony to 6 nm northwest of South

  Santee River Entrance, moving east at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Winyah Bay Sea Buoy, City Of Richmond, Georgetown Nearshore Wreck,

  Inshore Hole, East Bank Buoy, North Inlet Reef, C J Davidson Wreck,

  Georgetown Reef, and Wayne Upchurch Reef.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
