  Southern Lucas County in south central Iowa...

  Northern Decatur County in south central Iowa...

  Northern Wayne County in south central Iowa...

  Southern Clarke County in south central Iowa...



* Until 730 PM CDT.



* At 625 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grand River,

  or 7 miles northwest of Leon, moving east at 35 mph.



  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 

           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Osceola, Chariton, Leon, Corydon, Russell, Humeston, Van Wert,

  Lucas, Garden Grove, Woodburn, Decatur City, Williamson, Weldon,

  Derby, Millerton, Le Roy, Red Haw Lake State Park, and Chariton

  Municipal Airport.



This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 11 and 34.
