  Western Monroe County in south central Iowa...

* At 803 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Derby, or 7

  miles west of Chariton, moving east at 50 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Chariton, Russell, Lovilia, Lucas, Derby, Melrose, Red Haw Lake

  State Park, and Chariton Municipal Airport.
